    How big is the sun how far away is the sun from earth will the sun ram in to the earth one day

    Hi David.  You can find out some those things on the Solar Week Sun Facts page:

    We don't ever expect the Sun to ram the Earth. The Earth's orbit around the Sun is very stable. However, some day billions of years from now we expect that the sun will turn into a red giant star. At that point it might expand outwards enough to absorb Earth.
