    do sunspots move on the sun, or do they stay still?

    Hi Louise,

    Sun spots move on the Sun somewhat - they grow in size and also get smaller and even disappear. They can move around a bit as well, but not a lot. They look like they are moving because they generally rotate with the Sun.
