In terms of the mass of the sun, there are millions like it in the Milky Way, many of those similar in age (several billion years old). In terms of nearby stars, some stars are similar, but have perhaps important differences from our sun. For example, Alpha Centauri A is the next yellow star to the sun at approximately 4 light years distance. But it is slightly more massive, and has two companion stars (Alpha Centauri B and Proxima Centauri) making it different from our sun.
