    Re: career

    Hello,

As with most careers, you need to learn how to balance your work and your family. I think my job is this wonderful exciting thing, but I also know that I have to make time for my family and friends. Each person's balancing point is different, you just have to find what works for you

    Hi Lori,

I like being a scientist. It's nice to investige new things or try to improve our understanding of what happens in the universe.
Because I live far away from work I spend two hours a day on the train and the metro, it's 7 pm when I get home. This leaves not much time at home, but of course I have the weekends.

    Hi Lori,

One of the things I like about being the kind of scientist that does a lot of work on a computer is that I can do much of that work at home. So, I can go home at a reasonable time, spend time with my family and do some work after my two girls go to bed.
