    If i steped on the sun would i die.

    Hello,

    Yes, you would die if you tried to step onto the surface of the Sun.  In fact, since the Sun is completely gaseous and does not have a solid surface like the Earth does, you would fall right into the Sun.  What scientists generally think of as the visible surface of the Sun is a layer called the photosphere.  The photosphere is not a solid surface, but is actually a layer of gas about 100 km thick.  The temperature of the photosphere is about 6000 K, which is so hot that no astronaut would be able to survive there.
