Are all stars made of the same gases?

    Hi Ethan,

All stars are made roughly of the same gases - primarily hydrogen and helium.  The amount of other gases differs a bit from star to star, but not a whole lot.  It depends on the make up of the gas cloud that the stars formed out of.

    Best,
    Christina
