    Re: star/earth

     Hello Nicole,

The Sun is about 1,000,000 times the size of the Earth (volume).  The largest stars we know of are Red hypergiant and Red Supergiant stars.  The largest is VY Canis Majoris which is about 10 billion times the size of the Sun (volume).  So 10 billion Suns and 10 quadrillion Earths would fit inside VY Canis Majoris.
